Registrations are open now for Gertrude's visual arts teacher professional development opportunity, Contemporary Art on the Road (CAOTR).
In 2026 CAOTR will comprise six workshops presented in conjunction with educators from four regional galleries: Horsham Regional Art Gallery, Castlemaine Art Museum, La Trobe Art Institute and Shepparton Art Museum. The program will also be presented at Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA) and Gertrude Contemporary.
The first part of the program consists of formal presentations by educators from Gertrude Contemporary, Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA), the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) and host organisations. The second component of the program will be led by Gertrude Studio Artists: Erin Hallyburton and Jenna Lee.
