Anne-Marie May is a Melbourne based visual artist. May works across diverse materials to undertake explorations of colour, abstraction and space. Selected solo exhibitions have been held at Murray White Room, Melbourne in 2009, 2011, 2013, Her work was included in ‘Melbourne Now’, National Gallery of Victoria 2013, ‘Less is More: Minimal and Post Minimal Art in Australia’, Heide Museum of Art in 2012 and 21st Century Modern: 2006 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art, Art Gallery of South Australia. Her work is represented in national public collections including National Gallery of Victoria, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, Geelong Regional Art Gallery, Art Bank and Chartwell Collection, Auckland.
Anne-Marie May is represented by Murray White Room, Melbourne and Hamish Mackay Gallery, Wellington.
