Anthony Hunt

Anthony Hunt’s art practise is primarily engaged with computers and digital technology - which act as subject, inspiration and medium for the work he produces. Utilising a variety of techniques and medium, including: sculpture, installation, 3D modelling, digital imaging, animation and video.
He has participated in a wide range of individual, collaborative and curated exhibitions and projects both in Australia and overseas. Exhibiting in artist run spaces such as, Grey Area Art Space, Talk Artists Initiative, Penthouse and Pavement and Westspace.
Notable collaborations with Melbourne based artist Stephen Honegger include: Hatchback 2003 at Uplands Gallery; Towercase 2004 at Australian Centre for Contemporary Art; Container, originally exhibited at Gertrude Contemporary in 2002 and also included in Primavera 2003 at the Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art and the Seoul International Media Art Biennale 2004.
Born in 1974, Melbourne, Australia; Anthony Hunt was awarded the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) at RMIT University in 1997. In 2002 Anthony completed the Advanced Diploma of Arts (Electronic Design and Interactive Media) at Swinburne University. Anthony moved to London, UK, in 2003 where he currently works as a web developer, interactive designer and artist.
