Cate Consandine completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts Sculpture at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2000 and has since presented individual exhibitions including Candy Cane, Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces 2006, Cold Cut, eye stalk, Heidi Museum of Modern Art 2006; In the Land of Ice-Cream CLUBSproject 2005; edging still, Westspace 2004;window lash,BUS 2003; fallout, Studio 12 Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces 2003; and Prow: Stalking the safety zoneat First Site Gallery RMIT 2002. Cate has been a recipient of the Australia Council for the RAts Emerging Artist New Work Grant in 2006 and the Victorian College of the ARts Hybrid Performance Art Prize 1998 and 1999. She is a PhD Fine Arts Student at Monash University where she is currently teaching. Cate is an active member of CLUBSproject inc. She lives and works in Melbourne.
