David Rosetzky

David Rosetzky has participated in a wide range of individual and curated exhibitions and projects in Australia and internationally, most recently in Screen Life, Reina Sofia Museum, Madrid, coinciding with ARCO 2002. He has presented individual exhibitions at Kaliman Gallery, Sydney 2002; 1st Floor, Melbourne 2001, 2000 and 1994; Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne 2000; Dunedin Public Art Gallery, Dunedin 1997/8; and Testrip, Auckland 1997. Recent group exhibitions have included New 03, Australian Centre of Contemporary Art, Melbourne 2003; BitterSweet, Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney 2002; Happiness, Perth Institute for Contemporary Arts, Perth 2002; Connections: Contemporary Artists from Australia, House of Croatian Artists, Zagreb 2002; hybrid life forms, Netherlands Media Art Institute, Amsterdam 2001; Rent, Overgaden, Copenhagen and Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne; andMayonnaise, 1st Floor, Melbourne 2000. David is the founding Director of 1st Floor Artists and Writers’ Spaces and has been a recipient of an Australia Council, New Media Grant and Arts Victoria, Arts Development grant. He has been artist in residence at Dunedin Public art Gallery in 1997 and Glasgow School of Art in 1998/9.
