Masato Takasaka

Masato Takasaka completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) at the Victorian College of the Arts in 1999 and has since presented individual exhibitions at Studio 12, Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces, Melbourne 2002; 1st Floor, Melbourne 2002 and 2001; Penthouse and Pavement, Melbourne 2000; and TCB, Melbourne 1999. In 2002, Masato participated in a number of group exhibitions including Inverted Topology, Bus Gallery, Melbourne; Fresh Cut, Ben Grady Gallery, Canberra; Group Exhibition, BABA, Kanazawa, Japan; Gloss, Nadiff Gallery, Tokyo, Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne and Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia, Adelaide; and Value Added Capital, Westspace, Melbourne and Gallery 4A, Sydney. Other group exhibitions have included mixed bag, Ocular Lab, Melbourne 2001; Office of Utopic Procedures, Westspace, Melbourne 2001; rubik #13, Sarah Cottier Gallery, Sydney 2001; Setting Up, Sutton Gallery, Melbourne 2000; and Paintings are Ace, Linden Gallery 2000.
